At JJ Soccer Coaching and Academy, we recognized a significant gap in youth soccer training. Players and parents often face a dilemma: either pay exorbitant fees for high-quality coaching or settle for subpar training at a lower cost. Our academy was founded to bridge this gap. We guarantee that you or your athlete will receive top-tier coaching and training at reasonable rates.
For starters, we work with all ages, and skill level! We work directly with you to cater to your athlete’s every need rather than only offering pre-packaged training sessions. Whether you’re looking for 60-minute sessions five times a week, or a focused 4-hour session once a week, we can customize the schedule to fit your preferences.
Secondly, both Coach Jobe and Coach Jones are experienced, high-level soccer players who truly understand the game (feel free to read our bios for more information). We design each session based on your athlete’s skill level and the areas they wish to improve. Additionally, if requested, we can assess your athlete’s performance and provide tailored recommendations to help them advance their soccer development as quickly as possible.
Most importantly, our goal is to help your athlete succeed while ensuring they have a ton of fun along the way. We believe that progress is best achieved when passion and enjoyment are at the heart of the training process.
From a young age, I was deeply involved in sports, playing baseball and football throughout elementary school. Inspired by my dad, a former standout wrestler in high school, I decided to give wrestling a try. Unfortunately, an early injury left me with a broken thumb, forcing me to sit out of baseball during the spring of my 6th grade year. Determined to stay active, I decided to explore soccer—a decision that completely transformed my life. I fell in love with the game and haven’t stopped playing since. Now, I’m living in England, pursuing my dream of professional soccer while studying at the University of Gloucestershire. I’m majoring in Strength, Conditioning, and Rehabilitation, combining my academic focus with my passion for sports. During my time here, I’ve also earned my English FA (Football Association) license, further expanding my knowledge and skills within soccer. I’m also the oldest of four siblings, aged 19, 16, 13, and 11. I have a great relationship with each of them, and we’ve always shared a close bond. Reflecting on my soccer journey, I began playing the sport later than most, which meant I had to work relentlessly to reach the level of my peers. That challenge shaped my commitment and taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and determination. It showed me what it truly takes to grow, excel, and push toward the next level.
My soccer journey began at the age of 3 when I first discovered the game. While I loved the sport, it wasn't until my freshman year of high school that I truly became invested in pursuing it more seriously. During that year, I took a significant step forward by trying out for my high school team and joining a select club. Throughout the week of tryouts, I felt apprehensive and uncertain of my chances, but hearing my name called on the roster was a moment of immense pride. That experience solidified my dream of playing at the highest level possible. Over time, I moved between various clubs, continually refining my skills, and ultimately earned a spot on the roster of Oral Roberts University. Through this journey, I learned that consistency is the true hallmark of a champion—something that has shaped both my playing career and my approach to coaching. Currently, I coach at Alpha Forms in Melissa, working with children ages 6 to 14. I coach Monday through Friday and also lead weekend games. With nearly a year of intense coaching experience, I have seen rapid improvements in players of all skill levels, and I am dedicated to fostering their growth both on and off the field.
Soccer is much harder and more intense than it may look from the sidelines. There are many different parts of the game that need to be practiced, developed, and combined alongside each other, and if that is not achieved it's nearly impossible to progress to the next level. Soccer can be broken down 3 ways.
1. Technical Ability: This is your ability to receive the ball, pass, dribble, and shoot.
2. Physical Ability: This is your size, strength, speed, endurance, jump height, etc.
3. Mental Ability: This is the most important and toughest part of the game to master, however this is what separates the good from the great. Your mental ability is all about knowing what is the best move on the field. Whether you're in possession of the ball and can find your forward making a run, or you're defending and able to read the game and intercept the opponents pass, you have to be sharp-minded and able to make a quick decision.
We at JJ Soccer Coaching and Academy guarantee that we can train and develop all three of these abilities to better your athletes.
When you decide to join JJ Soccer Coaching, we will be able to customize athletes needs every session. We will work hard by combining high intensity, efficient, effective, and most important of all, FUN training. Listed below we have the equipment to train whatever skills/abilities you want to develop or improve upon.
