From a young age, I was deeply involved in sports, playing baseball and football throughout elementary school. Inspired by my dad, a former standout wrestler in high school, I decided to give wrestling a try. Unfortunately, an early injury left me with a broken thumb, forcing me to sit out of baseball during the spring of my 6th grade year. Determined to stay active, I decided to explore soccer—a decision that completely transformed my life. I fell in love with the game and haven’t stopped playing since. Since, I’ve lived in England, pursuing my dream of professional soccer while studying at the University of Gloucestershire. I’m majoring in Strength, Conditioning, and Rehabilitation, combining my academic focus with my passion for sports. During my time there, I’ve also earned my English FA (Football Association) license, further expanding my knowledge and skills within soccer. I’m also the oldest of four siblings, aged 19, 16, 13, and 11. I have a great relationship with each of them, and we’ve always shared a close bond. Reflecting on my soccer journey, I began playing the sport later than most, which meant I had to work relentlessly to reach the level of my peers. That challenge shaped my commitment and taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and determination. It showed me what it truly takes to grow, excel, and push toward the next level.
My soccer journey began at the age of 3 when I first discovered the game. While I loved the sport, it wasn't until my freshman year of high school that I truly became invested in pursuing it more seriously. During that year, I took a significant step forward by trying out for my high school team and joining a select club. Throughout the week of tryouts, I felt apprehensive and uncertain of my chances, but hearing my name called on the roster was a moment of immense pride. That experience solidified my dream of playing at the highest level possible. Over time, I moved between various clubs, continually refining my skills, and ultimately earned a spot on the roster of Oral Roberts University. Through this journey, I learned that consistency is the true mark of a champion, and it's something that has shaped both my playing career and my approach to coaching. Currently, I coach at Alpha Forms in Melissa, working with children ages 6 to 14. I coach Monday through Friday and also lead weekend games. With nearly a year of intense coaching experience, I have seen rapid improvements in players of all skill levels, and I am dedicated to fostering their growth both on and off the field.
